Music in the Digital Age

Once you have basic guitar knowledge it is relatively easy to learn to read guitar sheet music. Since auditory stimulation programs often are created to move us from a place where we are stuck, Digital music seemed particularly well suited for our purpose of encouraging active listening.

You may look to those stores that sell contemporary music boxes; many times the owners and operators of these stores are music box enthusiasts and have knowledge of the complexities of the antique music box. IPODs are for people on the move; you can store music as well as videos and take off.

Whether it is a musical snow globe, a souvenir from a vacation, or even the music boxes that we enjoyed in our youth, for many a toy music box is something that stays with us for a lifetime. Their rise to popularity began in the 19th century, and all these years later you can find a music box in nearly any home.

Or you can also get a few CD's and download the songs into your computer and transfer them to your iPod. Digital music can be and is often enjoyed by many friends, families, soul mates, etc and nothing beats listening to some of your most favorite kinds of digital music than listening to it with the people that you care about the most.

The music box is an audible connection to our past as individuals, but as a people as well - playing unchanged melodies that have been with all of us for centuries, and will stay with us for centuries to come.
